I have worked with and for Emma on many events, both in the UK and abroad, and have always been impressed with how she takes the most challenging situation in her stride, whether it involves uncooperative venues, Middle Eastern royalty or African ministerial entourages. Always calm, logical and a pleasure to work with, it’s unusual to be able to appreciate decisions being made as swiftly, fairly and firmly.  She is exceptionally well-organised and efficient, effortless at multi-tasking and very good at getting the best from local and global suppliers and clients.

Emma worked with Wellington College to help us deliver the Festival of Education attracting 4,000 visitors and over 200 inspirational speakers over 2 days. Emma was patient, efficient, calm, maintained positive relationships with the team and was crucial to the success in delivering this event.

Emma played a key role in moving the event on from being small scale, to be a professional, and world-renowned event for all educationalists. We simply could not invest the time or energy in making it a coherent event in which all speakers and sponsors were supported and treated well. We simply could not run an event with 200+ speakers and 2000+ visitors, with sponsors including Google, Facebook, Apple and Microsoft, and have full-time jobs teaching. Emma was brought in to address these issues, and she did it highly effectively.

EC Events struck a fantastic balance across all these competing demands. Supportive of all, but also knew when to make creative suggestions that solved problems. I would definitely work with EC Events again: Emma added vital experience, a no-nonsense and clear approach to complex issues, and a necessary momentum.  She got things done and raised standards.

I worked with Emma to develop and execute the launch of a corporate charity fundraising initiative. After a considerable amount of planning and resourcing, the day went extremely well with 150 of our top marketers actively seeding social media activity. I have always found Emma really approachable and helpful. I know that if Emma has taken on the challenge of resolving an issue, I no longer need to worry about it!
